FEATURED PRESENTATION: Legalized Gambling? Extreme Volatility and Issues in Enacting and Enforcing Regulations in Day Trading and Cryptocurrency

FEATURED PRESENTATION:

This program will address the classification of investments as a security and the SECs ability to regulate cryptocurrency and options trading transactions. It will discuss the extreme potential for volatility in this type of investing and consumer protection laws which have been enacted to help hedge against this unpredictability. It will further address recent decisions made in the March 21, 2025 SEC session of the agency’s Crypto Task Force. The relevant local and federal law will be discussed and explained.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

Ryan Neal: Ryan Neal graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2010. He spent the first 13 years of his career practicing law full time. In 2022, Ryan transitioned into the financial industry and is employed as a financial advisor with a large international financial firm which has over two trillion under management and 15,000 offices throughout North America.
