Premarital Agreements & Divorce

Course Description:

This course provides a practical overview of the value and significance of prenuptial agreements in both divorce and death. Designed for non-family law attorneys, this course examines how prenuptial agreements can define financial rights, protect assets, and minimize litigation compared to divorce with no prior agreements exists. How premarital agreements streamline property division, clarify spousal support expectations, and limit disputes involving estate rights upon death.

Speaker Bio:

Daniel Bubley obtained his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall law school, Chicago, Illinois in 1988. He initially practiced in a downtown Chicago law firm, before relocating to Tampa, Florida where he started the law firm of "Bubley & Bubley", with his brother Martin Bubley in 1992. In addition to practicing family law litigation, Daniel has coached high school ice hockey for over 23 years, where his teams have won 9 state championships. Daniel is on the Executive Council for the HCBA Marital & Family Law Section and a member of the executive committee for the Lightning High School hockey League.
